Cinderella in gold 2024 was a special commission for a collector who loved the original 2009 closed limited edition. Her costuming is one of a kind, to differentiate her from the earlier edition doll. The corsetry is 24k gold plated bronze, and the collar is gold-plated sterling silver, set with gemstones. In this photoshoot I wanted to capture a surreal and magical dreamscape of Cinderella’s experience at a spectacular masked ball, filtered through her feelings of uncertainty, courage, euphoria and wonder.
