Been making lots of tiny flowers, from tiny glass beads, for a tiny flower crown. And I need many more, because I intend to overdo this crown. Moderation is just not my cup of tea, it seems. Creative impulse calls, and I have to answer.
This new development is delaying my doll completion time and pushing the photo shoot several days back, but what’s a few more days in the grand scheme of pursuing your passion? I feel compelled to invest this extra time and see what happens, and if it ends up not working, then I’ll have ‘wasted’ some time following a lead to a dead end.
Worst case scenario is I’ll have a bunch of left over flowers for some next doll in the future. Seems like a win-win situation. This reminds me of one of my favourite songs in the world “I feel better”, by Hot Chip.
“...Nothing is wasted and life is worth living
Heaven is nowhere, just look to the stars
There is a day that is yours for embracing
Everything’s nothing, and nothing is ours...”
Have a listen, my friends. Get inspired. Embrace... everything!
