Make your own Enchanted Doll-in paper!

Remember when I said that three birthday contestants guessed my current projects? The first one was a battered doll, and this is the second one: a jointed paper doll by Cynthia. Actually, a last year's contestant has also submitted a jointed paper doll, but the idea of converting the photos of my dolls into paper dolls didn't occur to me until a few months ago.

At first I wanted to do it just as a distraction, for fun, but then I realized that some Enchanted Doll fans may really enjoy making and playing with them too. This was confirmed by the positive response to the contest entry. So, I designed them with simple assembly in mind, and now they are available for sale.

For the moment there are 4 designs: Cinderella, Sapphire, Echo and Imperial Concubine. They are printed on a 8.5" x 11" (21.5cm x 28cm) sturdy card stock along with easy assembly instructions. All you have to do is cut them out and join the dots with supplied brads.

$8.50 CND each. Sapphire is $10.50 CND

Or, $29.50 CND for a pack of all four dolls.

I took some snap shots of the assembled dolls. Sorry if they are a bit blurry. I'm sick right now and my hands aren't steady.

Better pictures coming soon, but the dolls are available now. Just email me at inquiries@enchanteddoll.com with a subject line of Paper Dolls.

You may or may not know this, but I started my doll-making career with jointed paper dolls when I was a little girl. I used to draw them by hand, assemble them with wires and sell them to my classmates for pocket change. I was a 10 year old entrepreneur. So, making these paper dolls was kind of a nostalgic blast from the past. It reminded me of where I came from.
